Apartment, Milan, 2016

An anonymous apartment with a complex plan undergoes a process of rationalization through the enhancement of a long and anonymous distribution corridor. The need to generate large storage spaces becomes the opportunity to design a large wall system consisting of white lacquered sliding panels decorated with brass inserts, a detail that becomes the architectural feature of the house. The opposite wall to the wardrobe is a real picture gallery made up of artist’s photographs. A further sliding panel separates the living area from the sleeping area consisting of a large bedroom characterized by bright colors and a bathroom finely covered with Calacatta Van Gogh marble and also inserted in brass.
