A greatly lowered hallway as so to create a spacious constriction leads to and enhances the scenographic quality and space of the living area. A single wall in brick-in-view, recalls the original layout, separated from the dining area positioned as to continue into the hallway.

In the large living area where restored furniture can be found, there is a sudden detachment through the placement of a refined 3-level steel staircase, the only piece to be considered a made-to-measure design piece. The feature joins the day-zone to the overlying attic where the bedroom, bathrooms and built in wardrobes are situated.

The large-sized living room is achieved over the course of demolition of a spined pine-wall whilst the second wall, preserved for structural reasons, underlines a separate area hosting the live-in kitchen.

The floors are oak wooded whilst the white washed walls highlight some memories of the building as a “niche” or nest, brick walls and stencil decorations emerging during the restoration phase under the layer of wall covering.
