Wine bar, Milan, 2010

An old bar in the Bocconi area becomes a warm and informal space for tasting excellent wine and good food.

The project involved a light restyling without radical changes to the layouts. A series of new informal furnishings framed by colored walls are designed to enhance the massive presence of wine bottles, the true protagonists of the space. A large sliding door decorated with an illustration by Guido Scarabottolo characterizes the passage between the serving area and the space for preparing food and storage.

Indirect lighting gives the environment a domestic character also emphasized by simple recycled chairs and simple metal and wood table, softened by a central red decoration that incorporates the dominant colors of the room.
